In-Home Personal Care Program: has the largest client base and serves all of Jefferson and Clallam counties.  The program matches caregivers to clients to provide the best possible customized service to each individual. This program allows seniors and people with developmental delays to successfully live in the least restrictive environment possible – (their homes).  Since 1997

Respite:  supports families who have a family  member with a disability living with them  so that they can have a break that will allow them to continue to provide the support to that individual, making the family stronger and able to be successful.  Since 1990.

Supervised Visit Program: This program in connection with DSHS focuses on reunifying families by monitoring and supporting family visits to keep connections in tact, when separation has been imposed.. Since 2005.

Representative Payee Program: Supports people who are recipients of Social Security and nee help managing individual budgets and paying their bills. This program allows individual independence as much as possible and diminishes homelessnes.

Parenting Classes:  For any parents who want to learn better parenting skills. We use the Nurturing program curriculum and Love and Logic and are qualified to teach for court ordered parents.  These classes are scheduled on demand so call and see if there are other parents who want a class at the same time you do and we can schedule one. Most classes go eight weeks long so make sure you are able to commit the time required.  Since 1999

Adult Education Classes: 
      •    STARS classes for childcare employees both the 20 hour class   for STAR certification and continuing education.
      •     Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving 28 hour class for caregiver certification and continuing education for caregiviers botih independent and agency providers.
      •    CPR and First Aid classes certification and renewal
      •    Blood Born Pathogens training Since 1999.

Connecting Links Adult Family Home: home for  six residents with developmental delays, each has their own room and individualized schedule to meet their needs.  Forks site only. Since 1998.

Vocational Rehabilitation:  Became Carf certified for three years to work with people who are having difficulty finding and retaining jobs.  Partnering with the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, Developmental Disabilities and the County to find living wage jobs for people who want to work.  Finding ways to overcome barriers and innovative accommodation to find clients best abilities. Since 2007

Teen Center:  Only on the Forks campus provides activities for teens ages 12 to 18, indoor skateboarding, pool table, air hockey, computer lab, X-Box.  Free food and supervision provided.  Since 1996

Childcare:  Only on the Forks campus.  Childcare for children one month to twelve years old.  Since 1982

o    Monitored by nanny cams,
o    Each room divided into stages of development,
o    Dependable, reliable, STARS certified,trained staff,
o    Nutritious meals and snacks, USDA approved,
o    Two outside playgrounds and an inside gym,
o    Developmental assessments and evaluations available on request

Early Intervention;  This program addresses the needs of children birth to three who have a developmental delay. Our experts will come to your home to evaluate your child’s development and provide the necessary therapies or instruction to help you in bringing your child up to developmental level by the time they reach Kindergarten age. We work closely with all the school districts to provide the best educational and therapeutic supports possible. Since 1984

Individual Supported Employment: This program is for individuals who are eligible for services through the Developmental Disabilties system and are over age 21.  The program provides job readiness skill development, job searches, help with finding jobs and applying for them. The goal is to find employment for individuals looking at their abilities and then helping them retain the job with necessary supports.  Since 2007

Pathways to Employment  helps indivdiuals to find the employment path that best suits them and helps them on their way to gainful employment. Since 2006

Community Access:  A program for retired individuals who have disabilities and are  62 or older and provides and avenue for them to experience their community by volunteering or otherwise engaging in activities that other seniors do.  Since 1992

United Way funding has been critical in allowing the agency to pay the overhead and operating costs that State, County and local funding just doesn’t cover.
