Creating
Connections
is the Home Care program of Concerned Citizens and provides
programs for Medicaid Personal Care, COPES, and CHORE.
Staff
are carefully screened and trained in providing the highest
quality of care for each individual need. They are required to
have First Aid, CPR and AIDS training, a TB test, Fundamentals
of Care giving and 10 hours of continuing education each year.
Staff are (NAR), Nursing Assistant Registered.
Supervisors
try hard to maintain consistency, knowing that it is important
to the client and quality care. They are trained in
assessments, mediation, and crisis intervention.
Linda
Middleton:
the Executive Director is a Licensed Practical Nurse, Early
Childhood Educator, and has had Specialty Training for
Developmental Disabilities. She is also a certified adult
educator.
